Food:  Variety of sandwiches, snacks and a cash bar.
Cost: Free!!

This dinner provides an informal setting for students and professional ornithologists to meet and discuss common research interests.  Professionals will be seated at tables organized by areas of interest.  Students will circulate among the tables and sit with professionals who share their interests.  At the dinner as many as twelve different research areas will be represented including: 
1) Avian physiology/Morphology
2) Systematics/Evolution
3) Migration/Orientation
4) Behavior
5) Breeding Biology
6) Avian Community/Landscape Ecology
7) Avian Disease
8) Conservation
9) Raptor Research
10) Tropical Research/Winter Ecology
11) Waterbird Research
12) Population Ecology/Demography

A mix of sandwiches (vegetarian and meat) will be served as well as water or lemonade and a light snack.  The cost of the dinner will be paid with funds from the American Ornithological Union.  The dinner is open to students who are current members of AOU, SCO, or COS.  Space is limited and students will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
